Tour de Brisbane

After a hugely successful inaugural event, the Tour de Brisbane returns on Sunday 5th April 2020.

Showcasing Brisbane as an international cycling destination to anyone on a bike, from elite riders, to weekend warriors, to families and kids. The event is headlined by the UCI Gran Fondo World Series which is part of the internationally sanctioned series held all over the world.

Starting and finishing in South Bank, the event incorporates a 120km Gran Fondo, 60km Medio, 30km Piccolo and a FREE Trek Community Ride.

It is a one-of-a-kind mass participation bike ride for all abilities and ages, that brings the community together and showcases Brisbane’s iconic landmarks on two wheels including the Story Bridge, Inner CBD, Legacy Way Tunnel and Mount Coot-tha.

The purpose is to raise funds for organ transplant research through The Common Good. Through all of us working together, we can give precious time to researchers, so that they can give more time to us and those we love live happier, healthier and longer lives. In addition the event will raise awareness of the Ride for a Metre Matters campaign to promote safe cycling in the city through our partnership with the Amy Gillett Foundation.
